Frank Martin Sports Complex – Weather Policy
At Frank Martin Sports Complex, the safety of our players, fans, and staff is our top priority.
Lightning Delays
In the event of lightning within 10 miles of the complex, all games will be immediately delayed for 15 minutes. Each additional lightning strike within that 10-mile radius will reset the delay and add another 15 minutes to the timer.
Tournament Play
We will make every effort to complete pool play, as long as conditions remain safe for players, coaches, fans, and staff.
Park Entry and Safety
Please understand that all spectators and participants enter the park at their own risk. In the event of severe weather, delays, or evacuations, our priority is ensuring the safety of everyone at the facility.
During weather delays or evacuations, we must also ensure the safety of our staff. All gatekeepers and park employees will be removed from their stations and moved to safe areas.
Park Evacuation Procedures
If a full park evacuation is required:
Our goal is to ensure the safety of everyone at the complex at all times. We appreciate your cooperation and patience during any weather-related situations.
