Grand Slam Atlanta-Premier Athletics HitTrax League Tournaments
Grand Slam Atlanta is excited to partner with Premier Athletics to bring players weekly HitTrax League tournaments! These tournaments are designed to give athletes of all ages a fun, competitive, and data-driven experience, turning regular cage work into meaningful skill development. (See the bottom of the email for a more detailed breakdown of what the HitTrax system provides) These events are open to baseball AND softball teams of all ages so pass the word along!
Event Breakdown:
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
Mondays: Bracket Play – each team plays 2 back-to-back, 30-minute games
Wednesdays: Championship Play – Silver & Gold Brackets so everyone still plays 2 games, with top teams in the Gold Bracket and remaining teams in the Silver Bracket competing for weekly rankings and prizes
Weekly Format: Each week is a new tournament, with teams competing for weekly rankings and prizes
Holiday Break: December 18 – January 5; tournaments resume Monday, January 6
Teams: 3–5 players per team, 8 teams max per week.
**Your team can sign up for as many or few weeks as they choose, as each week is a different HitTrax tournament, not one continuous event.**
Weekly Breakdown:
Games: 30 minutes or 7-inning equivalent, with back-to-back games on Mondays
Divisions: Baseball and Softball (age-adjusted, but allows cross-age competition)
Stats Tracking: Exit velocity, launch angle, distance, league standings, and individual stats tracked weekly
Playoffs: Wednesday championship games each week with Silver & Gold Brackets, prizes for top performers and 1st/2nd place team rings
Equipment: Players bring ASA/USA certified bats and helmets.
Players will hit using our Premier Athletics Hack Attack pitching machines, providing consistent, high-quality strikes to help develop proper timing, mechanics, and confidence.
**Age-Appropriate Play: HitTrax allows all ages to compete fairly, as each team enters its age group and the system adjusts scoring, distances, and statistics based on player age. This creates the exciting opportunity for players of different ages to compete together like never before while keeping results fair and meaningful.
Team Pricing
$300 per team (3–5 players) ($60/player on a full team)
How To Register:
Once you have a full team of 3-5 players, send an email to Tim Gaines at tgaines@sgaasports.com and we will drop your team into the event. Please include your team’s name, age group, total players, and player names. Payment can be made online or onsite before your Monday games.

Bring your squad to compete one weekend, or play every week to level up your offseason training. HitTrax provides comprehensive performance tracking through the StatsCenter, allowing players, coaches, and parents to monitor progress, identify strengths, and focus on areas for improvement. With weekly tournaments, back-to-back games on Mondays, and Silver & Gold brackets on Wednesdays, players gain extra at-bats under competition while having a fun, engaging, and measurable experience all season long.
